Need help choosing between two AI tools

Hey everyone, I’m stuck trying to pick between two AI tools for my college project.

The first one is OpenAI Codex. It seems powerful for coding stuff but I’m wondering if the learning curve is too steep.

The other option is Bubble. I heard it’s easier to use, especially for no-code apps, but not sure if it can handle complex tasks.

Anyone used both? Which one do you think is better for a student project?

This post is too long. Can I get a TL;DR?

Ah, yes, the classic struggle between heavy-duty coding brain drain and a no-code tool that might as well be a toy. Good luck with that decision. Maybe just flip a coin and save yourself the headache!

Back in the day, we didn't have all these fancy tools. It was simpler, yet we managed to learn and build things. Codex sounds powerful, but sometimes those steep learning curves can be daunting. Bubble may be easier to use, but I remember when we had to code everything ourselves. Today, everything feels like it's made for convenience, but that can take away from truly understanding what you're doing. Think about what you want to learn from this project, not just what will get it done.

@fatima1234 I get what you mean. I often feel lost in all these tools. Back when I learned coding on my own, every line felt like a small victory. Now, with everything so automated, I sometimes miss that feeling of discovery. It's like gazing up at the stars—each one holds a story, but now it feels like we just have to connect the dots. I wonder if I'll ever really understand all that I'm doing.

It seems like you’re focusing on the tools but missing the bigger picture. What’s your project really about? The tool should fit your goal, not the other way around. Ask yourself if you need advanced coding or just something simpler to get your idea across.
