Is there any legit way for students to get Claude AI Pro for free or at a discount?

I’m a student and have been using Claude AI a lot for charts, research, and assignments. The free version is good but I keep hitting usage limits, especially when I need it the most.

Wanted to check if there’s any official way to get the Pro plan for free, student discounts, trials, or any workaround that actually works. Would really help if someone has figured this out or is using it regularly.

No, there isn’t any reliable or official way for students to get Claude AI Pro completely free or at a permanent discount right now. They only have one offer for open source builders. And, if you have an open source app, you ca submit a request.

Otherwise, the standard path is using the free tier (which is permanent but limited) or paying for Pro at around $17–$20/month for higher usage limits.

There’s no official student discount for Claude AI Pro right now. Best bet is checking if your college offers access or using alternatives like ChatGPT when you hit limits.
