Senior Product / UX design in Delhi — which certs, tools and skills actually matter?

I'm a mid-level product/visual designer based in Delhi, coming from a painting background and want to move into a senior product/UX role in the next 6-12 months. Which certifications, courses or concrete tools should I prioritise to get there?

Thinking practical stuff like certificates that hiring managers respect, software I must be fluent in, and the soft skills that separate a senior from a mid. Quick list of what I’m considering:

  • Certs/courses: Interaction Design Foundation, Coursera HCI, Nielsen Norman UX certs, any Delhi bootcamps worth it?
  • Tools: Figma + components, Miro, Framer/ProtoPie, basic HTML/CSS, analytics tools (GA, Mixpanel), user testing tools (Lookback, Hotjar)
  • Skills: design systems, UX research and stats, stakeholder management, writing clear case studies with metrics, mentoring juniors

Any Delhi-specific recs for courses, meetups, agencies hiring seniors, or people to follow? Also curious about realistic salary ranges and interview expectations for senior roles here. Short experiences or pointers welcome.
