Quick note on low-effort posts

Deep Dive

I've been bouncing between Bangkok, Lisbon and Oaxaca, and I keep seeing low-effort posts in here. People drop a PNG and ask for a full critique like it's a magic button.

We can give better feedback, but it helps if you're not treating this like a free design test. At least show a little work before you post.

  • Goal of the project
  • What you tried or alternatives
  • Process shots or source files
  • Fonts, sizes and export details
  • What specific feedback you want

Do that and you'll get useful replies. Keep dumping sketches and one-liners and you just get people scrolling past.

No more lazy posts.
Stop dumping a PNG and expecting a free design test. Show goal, what you tried, files and one clear question.

If you think dropping a PNG equals a full critique, you're new here.
Want useful feedback? Post the goal, what you tried, process shots or source files, fonts/sizes/exports, and exactly what feedback you want.
Show a little work and people will actually help.

A little jealous of your Bangkok/Lisbon/Oaxaca run.
Good checklist. I’ll start including goal, what I tried, process shots, source files, fonts and export details.
Makes me want to travel and stop posting half baked PNGs.

Yep, show work first or people scroll past.
If you want a weird, barely relevant tool, try GamutVision for color gamut checks. Niche and overkill for most posts but fun to drop into critiques.
