Hey Gurgaon, I'm building a simple Android MVP and want to hire local devs or a small agency so we can iterate fast. Looking for where to find vetted folks, what rates to expect, and any red flags to watch for.

Project: Android MVP (Kotlin)
Timeline: 6-8 weeks
Budget: ₹50,000 - ₹1,20,000
Need: portfolio and client refs

I agree. Try LinkedIn, Upwork, AngelList and Gurgaon dev meetups to find vetted folks.
Rates: expect about ₹40,000–₹1,00,000 for a solo Kotlin dev for 6–8 weeks; small agencies will be higher.
Red flags: no portfolio or client refs, no GitHub/commit history, vague timelines, unwillingness to sign a short milestone contract.
Personal note: I required weekly GitHub PRs on an MVP and that cut iteration time by almost 2 weeks.
