Anyone else nostalgic about those crazy science projects we used to do back in school? It was a mix of fun and madness, but they really sparked our interest in science and engineering.

  • Making volcanoes with baking soda
  • Creating simple motors with batteries and magnets
  • Building bridges with toothpicks
  • Experimenting with solar ovens
  • And of course, the classic paper mache projects

What was your favorite science project that got you hooked on engineering?

Ah yes, nothing screams "future engineer" like a volcano that explodes in your kitchen.

At least we learned to clean up messes... right?

Those projects were a blast. They really made science come alive.

If you want to revisit that hands-on experience, check out the book "The Art of Electronics" by Paul Horowitz and Winfield Hill. It's a great resource for anyone interested in building electronic projects, even beyond school.

It has clear explanations and practical examples that can spark new ideas.

I totally remember those projects!

My favorite was building a solar oven. Watching marshmallows melt was the best part.
