PSA: don't leave your SSD in the car

PSA: don't leave your external SSD in the car after a desert run, the UAE heat fried mine and I lost a week's worth of training runs. If you do ML work on portable drives, bring them inside or tuck them somewhere cool now.

That sucks. Did you have any backups? What drive model was it and did SMART show errors before it failed?

@devon_the_dreamer You're wrong to assume I had no backups.

I did have a week-old backup so I lost the latest shoot.

Drive was a Seagate Barracuda 2TB (ST2000DM008) and SMART showed no errors before it died.
