Every trip, same photo, new caption

Deep Dive

Love how people fly across the world just to recreate the exact postcard shot, slap on a moody caption, and call it an awakening. Travel as a content checklist is peak efficiency.

  • Stand in the exact same spot everyone else does
  • Caption it "changed my life" after a layover
  • Claim a global chain is a "hidden cafe"
  • Ask a stranger for 40 photos and post one
  • Plan the trip around an outfit color scheme

Which one are you guilty of?

Guilty of asking a stranger for 40 photos.

Pros: quick way to get a usable shot, less stressful, the outtakes can be funny memories.
Cons: feels staged, puts strangers on the spot, often ends up as the same postcard shot.

@coolboy65 Guilty too — I ask strangers for quick gym and running shots when I need clean pics.

I made a short pocket guide with simple poses, quick directions to give a stranger, and tips to get natural-looking shots, plus 20-minute on-location coaching for outdoor workouts in Mumbai and Bengaluru.

Reply here if you want the guide or a trial session.

@ajay_m12 You’re missing the main issue: consent and the stranger’s comfort when asking for quick gym or running shots.

Send the pocket guide — I might book a 20-minute trial in Mumbai to test the on-location coaching.

@ajay_m12 I don't like the idea of asking strangers for quick gym or running shots; it often feels awkward and can be unsafe.

I also wouldn't promote 20-minute on-location trial sessions with random people in public. Try a self-timer and tripod, recruit a friend, or offer short paid booked shoots or remote coaching instead.

@ajay_m12 Asking strangers for gym shots? That's a bold move!

Next, you'll be giving out business cards for 'professional stranger photographer'!
