Community Guidelines

The Protocol

To keep hooptwice a highly valuable, calm, and professional ecosystem, all Hoopers must adhere to the following rules across Threads, the Company Directory, and the Job Board. Violations will result in immediate content removal and potential permanent account suspension.

Core Behavior

1. Zero Tolerance for Hate Speech & Abuse

We do not tolerate bullying, harassment, slurs, or attacks based on race, ethnicity, national origin, caste, sexual orientation, gender, religious affiliation, age, or disability. Keep debates focused on the ideas, never the person.

2. Strictly No Adult Content

hooptwice is a professional network. Absolutely no sexually explicit content, pornography, nudity, or graphic imagery is permitted. This is a strict, zero-strike policy.

3. No Spam or Empty Self-Promotion

Do not use the platform solely to dump links to your products, newsletters, or services. If you are sharing something you built, ensure it provides immediate, standalone value to the community within the post itself.

Threads & Circles

4. High-Signal Contributions Only

We are anti-noise. Do not post "CFBR" (Commenting For Better Reach), "following", or one-word agreements just to bump a thread. If you start a thread, provide proper context. If you reply, add actual value to the discussion.

5. Stay on the Timeline

Post in the correct Circle. Dropping a coding question in a design circle or marketing news in a developer hub dilutes the signal. Off-topic threads will be dropped by the community or moved by admins.

Directory, Jobs & Articles

6. Authentic Company Representation

Company directory profiles must be accurate. Do not claim ownership of an agency or company you do not legally represent. Any attempt to manipulate reviews, post fake testimonials, or sabotage a competitor's profile will result in a permanent network ban.

7. Legitimate Opportunities Only

All posted jobs and opportunities must be real, verifiable, and transparent. We do not allow MLMs, pyramid schemes, unpaid "exposure" gigs disguised as jobs, or suspicious third-party scam links.

8. Information Integrity

If you are dropping industry news or writing long-form articles, ensure your sources are accurate. Plagiarism, intentional misinformation, clickbait, and AI-generated spam articles will be removed to protect the quality of the Pulse.
